Bringing together the diverse sounds of Dunja Botic, Inês Loubet and Rey Yusuf, AMANNA are a powerful trio combining their eclectic musical experiences to create a rich tapestry of vocal harmony and percussive sounds.

Their debut single, “I’m in charge of my body” is a belted and unapologetically raw mantra of a song. Trance like drumming, multilayered vocals and drone created by a synth, all work together to create many moments of tension and release. Tim Karp’s production, particularly in the pulsating percussion contributes to the grittiness and sense of urgency that this song represents to the band. This track sends a clear message - our bodies are our home and we are claiming the right to feel safe within it.
